Become a Partner AgencyCommunity organizations are our access points for building partnerships and aligning research with community needs, initiatives, services, and resources that impact health in the region. Partner Agencies include healthcare, social services, and grassroots community organizations, represented by their governing body and organizational leadership.
We collaborate to find work that Partner Agencies are doing that match with the type of projects for which we can design a research protocol and secure funding. Partner Agencies also agree to receive quarterly updates from CHARA and help us share what we learn locally and more widely. Become a Research AmbassadorResearch Ambassadors lend their individual voices and perspectives as research stakeholders and help ground our work in questions that matter to people in our community. Research Ambassadors include individual consumers, clinicians, and service providers whom may or may not be associated with a Partner Agency.
We aim to engage individual consumers, clinicians, and services providers in all phases of research developed and conducted by CHARA. Research Ambassadors participate in training and engage in dialog with researchers and community members about local health issues and research projects. They also respond to requests for input on decisions about our research program. Become an Academic PartnerPartnering with academic investigators from Oregon and nationally allows CHARA to conduct rigorous, professional research projects. Academic Partners include investigators with areas of expertise relevant to current CHARA research priorities and interest in conducting community-engaged research.
Academic Partners collaborate with CHARA and community stakeholders on developing funding proposals, designing studies, carrying out research projects, and disseminating findings that address local needs and contribute to the larger body of knowledge about fostering health Contact us to learn more. |
